Westchester is a village of about 17,000 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. While primarily residential, four 10-story office developments have been built (with one more planned), and two townhouse developments have also been completed. Recreational opportunities include an active Park District program, Forest Preserves on the south end of town, and the Prairie at Wolf Rd.
