THE BEGINNING:

Remembering Adam & Eve - our FIRST progenitors that God created:
“And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground & breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.”
Genesis 2:7

Because of sin, God sent THE FLOOD destroying all living things - Genesis chapters 6-8. The earth was destroyed by a flood, except God spared Noah, his wife [name not given], their 3 sons, Shem, Ham & Japheth with their wives [names not given] and many other species of living creatures.

God put a RAINBOW in the sky as a sign of His covenant so “never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.” Genesis 9:15b

YOUR BEGINNING GENEALOGY TODAY FOLKS! Genesis 6:10; 7:13; 9:18 & 28; 10:1-32.
Surviving the flood - Noah & his wife; Shem & his wife; Ham & his wife; Japheth & his wife. “...from these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.” Genesis 10:32b

We the people of the earth today are counted as descendants from Noah’s children - Ham, Shem & Japheth.

NATIONS DESCENDED FROM NOAH’S SONS:

The NIV - Life Application Bible, page 23, identifies the following simple chart:

SHEM - Hebrews, Chaldeans, Assyrians, Persians, Syrians. Shem’s descendants were called Semites. Abraham, King David, King Solomon and Jesus descended from Shem.

HAM - Canaanites, Egyptians, Philistines, Hittites, Amorites. Ham’s descendants were settled in Canaan, Egypt, and the rest of Africa.

JAPHETH - Greeks, Thracians, Scythians. Japheth’s descendants settled for the most part in Europe and Asia Minor.

LANGUAGES OF THE WORLD

Then came the LANGUAGES of the world: Genesis 11:1-9
“Now the whole world had one language and a common speech...” The people began building a tower - later called the tower of Babel. God saw that their way was not good and He confused their language so they would not understand each other. “So the Lord scattered them from there over...the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:8a & 9b

SIN

Man’s SIN has continued from the time of Adam. EACH PERSON is a sinner. Jesus DIED for our sins. As long as EACH of you is ALIVE, you have opportunity to choose where you want your SPIRIT to live eternally. After your physical death, GOD will judge your life and where your SPIRIT will be for eternity.

GOD LOVES YOU

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son [Jesus; who died on the cross], that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

ALL PEOPLE ARE SINNERS

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man [Adam & Eve] and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12

GOD’S REMEDY FOR SIN

ALL PEOPLE MAY CHOOSE SALVATION

“For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile... Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:12a & 13

At your physical death, your SPIRIT will then live eternally with GOD in HEAVEN!

ASSURANCE AS A BELIEVER

“That if you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him [Jesus] from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE JESUS’ GIFT OF SALVATION
YOU STILL HAVE CHOSEN

For those who do not choose to follow God, then you have the only other option available - and that is: At your physical death, your SPIRIT will then live eternally with SATAN & the DEMONS in the LAKE OF FIRE. Have you considered your SPIRIT in eternal torment day and night for ever & ever?

“When the Son of Man [Jesus] comes in his glory... All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another... Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels... Then they will go away to eternal punishment...”
