Rosie joined the Lomicka family in August, 1996 at the age of four years. Her previous family trusted her to the Sheldon branch of the Animal Rescue League of Boston in Salem, Massachusetts, where she waited about three days to find her new family. Rosie's favorite toy is her well-worn chicken-flavored plastic bone. Her favorite activity is eating, which due to her 26 pound physique, is restricted to 1 cup of dry dog food per day, supplemented by a few carrot treats.
