I am looking for info on Joshua ROBINSON (ca 1819 - September 1, 1872). Joshua was an Iron Molder reportedly was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but he appears to have been in Fulton, Hamilton County Ohio by about 1841 (just outside Cincinnati, in an area later annexed into the city).
* Joshua appears to have had a brother John ROBINSON (Born PA ca 1822-Died after 1860 census).
*There very possibly may have been another brother named Henry ROBINSON (dates unknown).
The three Robinson boys are found living with Jonathan RICHARDSON (Step Father???) a carpenter from England who died about 1846 and Sarah RICHARDSON (Born Ca 1778 in England-died ca 1862).
* The 1870 census appears to say Joshua's parents were foreign born.
* The Robinson boys get listed as Richardson in the city directory some years and as Robinson in other years. The family probably was involved in Steamboat Building or Repair.
A Hamilton County Ohio marriage license dated March 28, 1852 between Joshua ROBISON and Hannah J. PEACOCK proves to be Joshua and his wife. Joshua's known family was:
Hannah J. Peacock Robinson in the 1900 census said she was the mother of 9 with 6 still living. Sarah, Matt and the unknown child were dead by that time.
Joshua Robinson moved his family from Cincinnati, Ohio to Newport, Campbell County, KY about 1869 where he died September 1. 1872 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in the plot of his father in law Samuel H. Peacock. There is no proof Hannah Jane Peacock Robinson was buried in the same lot.
After Joshua's death the remaining family moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio by 1877 and several family members moved back & forth across the river several times after that date.
A search of Pittsburgh records finds several familiar sounding Robinson names including several people named Joshua Robinson. I have not be able to prove a connection.
I would appreciate information from anybody regarding the above.
I will gladly exchange information, theories, and wild guesses about these families, their ancestors and descendants with any researcher!

Thanks, Daryl.
