Welcome to my South Georgia Roots! My name is Melody and I
have been researching my family's history and also my husband's
family. When I began this project; I didn't realize the enormity
of what I was taking on; nor did I realize that searching out the
past would become my most time-consuming hobby. As most of you
know, genealogy can be both intriguing and irritating, but almost always addictive!

The majority of our roots are in the following counties in Georgia:
COFFEE, BERRIEN, COOK, LOWNDES, ATKINSON
IRWIN BEN HILL BRYAN PIERCE, and TELFAIR.

I will be glad to share what information I have with anyone
interested. I would also love to hear from anyone that has come
across my family connections in their own search.
