Small as I was when I returned home
I was greeted by angels who helped me along.
Oh, if I could have kissed Mom and Dad bye
But Jesus knew the time was not right
Heaven is a beautiful place
And patiently I pray and I wait
Never be sad for I'm not alone
Believe I'm still little, I haven't grown
Right here in my cradle

Anxiously waiting to see you that day
Now let me tell you, Granddaddy and me
Nestle together and soon you will see
Also remember Guido and Hans
My goodness they're active from dusk until dawn
Can't wait to hug you and show you my love
Douse you with kisses from Heaven above
One more thing I need to ask
Need to tell Emily I'm waiting to laugh
Angels will help you get where I am
