In Loving Memory Richard Peter O'Neill I February 14, 1967 - May 12, 1998 |

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Richard was a very special person to me, and my family. He was the type of person that would do just about anything to help you out. You could always count on him. On May 12,1998 his life was cut short in a motorcycle/car accident. I can still see his face as he was leaving to go to Walmart that day...my sister and he and their three children were getting ready to move next door to me. Sometimes I think if only I could of convinced them not to take that apartment he would be here now. Its been a very long and hard struggle for my sister and the kids, and they have a long way to go. Richard was not only my brother-in-law he was a very good friend, and I miss him terribly. The person that caused the accident was entering a parking lot through an exit. The bad thing is this person was never punished for breaking the law, but all those who loved Richard were punished because of this person's actions. I do believe that someday we all will meet again but its a shame he couldn't of been here to watch his three small children grow. The youngest was only three years old and Daddy's boy. It broke my heart that I was the one that had to explain to him that his Daddy was in heaven. To look in those kids eyes with those tears running down their faces, will be something I will never forget to the day I die. Richard we all love you and miss you, so please watch over us all. Until We Meet Again My Friend, GOODBYE! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Home Town - Troy, New York Special
