WILLIAM A. "JOHN BILLY" KING, was born 16 April 1840 in Tennessee and died 24 March 1913. He is buried in the Maroney Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
He was a nephew of Davis King.
He married Mary J. Maroney, daughter of Ester Sterrett Rusk and Nolen L. Maroney, on 25 November 1866 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
In the taking of the 1867 Voters Registration, William stated that he had been in the County for 10 years, which places his arrival in Nacogdoches at 1857.
He is listed on the 1870 Muster Roll of Nacogdoches County, Texas; and is also listed in the 1870 and 1880 Census of Nacogdoches County, Texas.

He married Mary Etta Muckleroy. Their married took place sometime after 1900. In the 1900 Census of Nacogdoches County, Texas Martin L. King is 22 and still living with his parents. Mary Etta Muckleroy, daughter of Mary Ellen Meeks and John Muckleroy, was born 29 March 1882 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. She died 15 October 1967 and is buried in the Maroney Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. , son of Mary Etta Muckleroy and Martin Luther King, Sr., was born 3 April 1905 in Nacogdoches County, Texas and died 20 April 1990 in Nacogdoches, Texas and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas.
He married Nona Muckleroy in 1929.

Funeral is pending for Martin L. King, Jr., 85, of 5449 Center Highway with services to be announced by Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
King died April 20, 1990 at Nacogoches Memorial Hospital.

Funeral for Martin L. King, Jr., 85, of 5449 Center Highway will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. James E. Young, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
King died April 20, 1990 at Nacogoches Memorial Hospital.
Born, April 3, 1905 in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of Martin L. and Mary Etta Muckleroy King. He was a retired foreman at Texas Farm Products, after retirement worked at Commercial Nationa Bank, was a lifetime resident of the county and a member of Knights of Colomubus.
He and Nona Muckleroy were married in 1929, and she survives him.
Also surviving are two sons, Myrth King and Willia Richard King of Nacogdoches; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Faye Garcia of Laredo; a brother Clayton King of Nacogdoches; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at Cason-Monk-Metcalf Chapel, and visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors will be in charge of arrangements.
