Charlie & Edith's 50th Anniversary and Reunion at Turner Falls

We held"charlie & Edith Smith Family Organization" 1999 reunion at Deer Creek Lodgeon August 20th to 22nd. Deer Creek Lodge is near Turner Falls in Oklahoma. Those who came had a fun filled weekend at the private lodge in the beautiful Turner Falls recreation area and the beautiful Botanical Gardens. The lodge has 6 bedrooms, 7 sofa beds, large living and dining areas, a small private lake, paddle boats, canoes, volleyball and basket ball nets, smoker & picnic tables for outdoor cooking, and much more. Some of our guests went to the falls and still others went hiking. We had games & movies, and we made souvenier T-Shirts and did scrap-booking in the airconditioned lodge. The families of each of Charlie & Edith's children were responsible for one meal which allowed maximum freedom for all. On our last evening we had a sumptous steak dinner and wedding cake to celebrate Charlie & Edith's Golden Wedding Anniversary.
