Our primary purpose is to create a stronger bond with all of our family and friends through increased correspondence, Family Reunions and Genealogy

Events & Notices:
Last Year the Charlie & Edith Smith Family Reunion was missing some really important people . . . Charlie & Edith Smith! Dad's heart surgery was successful and mom's torn rotator cuff surgery went well. Both are doing well and are expecting to attend this year's 2008 Reunion at Turner Falls.

REUNION 2008
AT DEER CREEK LODGE #1,
TURNER FALLS, DAVIS, OKLAHOMA
The 2008 Reunion will be held on Friday July 11th to Sunday, July 13th, 2008. The entire weekend is FREE to everyone in the the Charlie & Edith Smith Family Organization ($50 per adult 18 yrs and older for non-members). Your yearly dues to the Family Organization cover all costs for this annual event!
For more information just get in touch with grandma at 214-235-5099. The 2007 Reunion was a blast and we sure hated to return to the heat & humidity after the cool lake breezes.

Whitney Family Letter
We have several family websites linked at "MyFamily.com" We've tried to notify everyone, but if you didn't get yours let either Viv or Mom know and we will get you on the list. These sites are great for exchanging family news and pictures and there is even a "chat time", for those who want to "talk". The family genealogy is also available there to download to your computer if you'ld like. We want everyone to use these sites. These are definitely user friendly so be sure to post YOUR info for everyone to share.
