PLACER GOLD SERVICE UNIT LIBRARY
We have many books in our library on all kinds of different subjects. We would love for troops to check out books! To check out a book you can call Laura Schmidt , or E-mail her at the link on the start page. We can arrange for you to pick up the book . Or there is another easier way , just come to the leaders meeting each month and check it out then. There are over 70 different books in our library. Have you ever said "I’m out of ideas!"? Maybe our library can help.
We are always looking for additions to the library. Do you have any books your troop or your family is no longer using? Did your troop work on a badge and you have a folder of information or magazines and books that helped them earn that badge? Would that information be helpful to other troops?
Did your troop just go on a great field trip? Please fill out a field trip information sheet so we can add it to our Field Trip folder.
Did you just complete a craft that the girls had fun doing? Please copy the instruction and bring a photo (if possible) so we can add it to Our Own Craft Book. Maybe you’d like to bring the craft to the next meeting to show us.
Do you have a fun activity you do to get your girls ready for camping? Did you find a great campout recipe? Did you find new information that helped your troop? Please bring a copy to add to our Placer Gold Service Unit Camping Tips and Helps.
