Welcome to, All My Cat Pages! |
I can't remember exactly when I fell in love with cats. I just know I have always loved them. Over the years I've owned, or rather I should say been the slave to my cats. The first cat that I could call "mine", was named Tom Cat. He was a regular tom cat. He would roam the streets at night only to come home when his need for warmth and food suited him. After Tom passed it was a few years before I could have another cat. My next cat was Fluffy. I got Fluffy when he was about 2 years old. We clicked right away. He was a totally indoor cat. He was shy playing in front of anyone but me. If he got "caught" playing he seemed truly embaressed. I moved away from home for awhile leaving Fluffy behind. In that move I got Fuzzy. Fuzzy is a bizzare cat in my words. I was able to teach him to walk on a leash, love to ride in the car, and shake paws with me. I moved back home and surprise, surprise, Fluffy and Fuzzy got along GREAT! Fuzz Ball (his other name) taught Fluffy to relax and soon we could take Fluffy camping with us too! One thing that never changed was Fluffy's dislike for the car. Fluffy passed in 1990, Fuzz Ball is alive and well living in Florida with my mother. On June 13, 1987 I got married, also on that date, my "soul cat" was born. I was a newlywed that was alone alot due to my new husband's traveling. So I went out and got some company. I got Fatso and his little brother Pee-wee. Pee-wee didn't last but a month, he had a bad heart we were later told and passed in the night one night. Fatso went into deep morning. We went and got him another cat to pick up his spirts. Thats how Little Bit came to live with us. In Febuary 1988 we got another cat for a soon to be born son Charles. We called this cat Booties. When we brought our son home from the hospital Booties and Charles were like twins. He was happy when Boots was by him and visa, versa. Soon after Charles's birth we moved to Colorado. In 1989 our dog chased this little black fur ball up the tree in the backyard. We ended up keeping him and naming him Ord. 1990 we lost Little Bit when I was in the hospital having our daughter. He just died behind the washing machine. Soon after we got Denver Dolittle, who was born on our daughters birthday. Since then we have had Lizzie (she got out and was attacked by a racoon we think), Baby Bop who was Lizzie's daughter and we gave to our Landlady when we had to move and couldn't have more than 5 cats. Simba and Nala, Simba now lives down the road from us happily catching mice. Pepsi and Rootbeer who are Simba's and Nala's daughters. So come through my pages and meet all my cats and thier own little storys. |
