I want to thanks those of you that have helped with the research on this family line.

The time spent hunting, traveling, and logging information. Thanks goes out to Douglas Smelley of Blanchard LA, Margaret Ingram Godfrey of Decatur GA, and Carrie Smelley Young of Longview, TX.

I am hoping to find a connection for my John of 1825 to the rest of the Smelley family that I have collected and received information on. It's one big jigsaw puzzle and I'm just hunting for the missing piece. I would appreciate any assistance on this endeavor.
