Israel and Rebecca were united in marriage on October 20th, 1884 in Polk Cnty, IA.    Rebecca passed away in Union County, South Dakota June 24, 1916 from cervical cancer.  In 1925, planning to spend the Christmas holidays with his oldest daughter, Leota, Israel Amariah walked briskly through the snow to her Minneapolis home.  As he reached the front porch he collapsed.  His daughters, Leota and Bessie, were out Chrsitmas shopping at the time.  He was found on Leota's front porch, dead at the age of 73.

Leota Anita Wilson

Leota Anita Wilson is the eldest child of Israel and Rebecca Wilson.  She was born May 11, 1886.  She was married to Dusty LaVoie.  Leota and Dusty had five children, Marie, Joe, Roy, Carl, and Bertha.  Leota passed away July 15, 1960.

Bessie Oral Wilson

Bessie Oral Wilson was born June 5, 1887.  As a young woman in Minnesota she married Art Wier.   Mr. Weir and Aunt Bessie were divorced;  later she married Walter Stirch.  After the death of Mr. Stirch she married Bert Dameron.   Mr. Dameron died and  Bessie spent her final years with Clayton Scott in Pamona, CA.

Victor Earl Wilson

Victor Earl Wilson was born Sept 10, 1896.  He married four times- to Mary, Myrtle and twice to Alda.  He had two children; Victor and Victoria.   He is pictured here with his wife, Myrtle.

Hilda Ethel Wilson

Hilda Ethel was known to her grandchildren as Grandma Ethel.  She was born Sept 15, 1900 in Coal Hill, Boone Co,,IA.  She was married to James Lewis Schlief, their son's name is George.  George's father was a Railroad employee who was killed in train wreck.  Ethel later married Albert Gorder and had two sons, Clarence and Earl.  She was married to Carl Schilling and had four children, Arnold, Betsy, Dallas, and Robert.  Ethel married John Johnson and to this union two daughters were born, Carol Ann and Linda.  Ethel passed away visiting her daughter, Carol Ann, in Racine, WI on Apr 22, 1967.  She is buried in Oneida Cemetery, Duluth MN.

Ray Randall Fredrick Wilson

Randall Fredrick Wilson was born on July 15, 1903 in Omaha, Nebraska.  He married Christine and had two sons; William and Jerry.  He later married Elaine Bruber.  They were blessed with six daughters; Catherine, Elaine, Velma, Randalyn, Cynthia, and Nancy Ann.  Randall preferred to be called Ray.  He passed away on Oct 13, 1970.

Velma Audrey Wilson

Velma Audrey Wilson was born on Sept. 9, 1904 and preferred to be called Jacqueline.  She was married five times, her fifth husband was "Mike" John Fretwell.  Velma passed away on Jan. 1, 1960.

Nile Oliver Wilson   (1891-1918)

1906- Fanny Ethel, born 1890,  died of a heart attack on her wedding day at the age of sixteen.    She was buried in her wedding dress.

Nile Oliver Wilson was born June 6, 1891.  He was married to Helen.  Their son, Nile, suffered a broken neck and died when he fell from a hay mow at the age of nine.

1918-  Nile Oliver's car got stuck in a rut on a muddy road.  He strained so hard while trying to pull it out that he became temporarily paralized in both legs.    He soon recovered and drove on home.  Upon arriving home, a blood vessel ruptured in his brain.  His sister, Bessie, remembers she had been making biscuits at the time.  She and her father, Israel, tried to revive Nile but he could not be saved.  He died at the age of 27.
