The names written,above, in red, are my "direct" ancestors, with their siblings, written in black. This branch of the Quammen/ Johnson family tree, originates in Sand Norway. Many members of the Johnson family settled in Wisconsin, and are still there today. The original family name was changed, by Ole and Bertha, from Quammen, to Johnson in 1880, when they immigrated to America, one son John, kept Quammen as his last name and married Helen Skari, of Norway. The family names, that I am aware of are; Quammen, Johnson ,Steine, Hovland, Lunde, Berge, Njelsdtr, Jensen and Clark
