A HAPPY FAMILY
IS BUT AN EARLIER
HEAVEN

--HORACE BUSHNELL--
We are a very close & tight-knit family of 5. Daddy Lion is a fulltime daddy & breadwinner. Mommy Lioness is a full-time stay-at-home homeschooling mom & keeper/cleaner of the Leonis Pride den.  We have a beautiful 13 year old big sister cub & a handsome 10  year old little brother cub & a cute littler 6 1/2 year old cub. We have a deep love & commitment to doing things that we feel are right for
OUR PRIDE
which include Christian homeschooling, mom at home, attachment style parenting,  etc.
The purpose for my page is to be loaded with great information & ideas & sites that we have found fun & educational in our journey as a CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOLING FAMILY.
We believe that education is not "One size fits all". There is literally tons of fantastic
curriculum ideas out there. As Christians we
use Classical Education (mainly Ambleside.org)
& Charlotte Mason & flavor it with
The Well-Trained Mind & Unschooling & Waldorf &
mix whatever bits and pieces of other
curriculums/tools/books like:
Ambleside, OAK MEADOWS, FIVE IN A ROW,
CREATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE, etc,
plus all Mommy Lioness's past experiences as a creative dance & gymnastics teacher to preschoolers & her 10 years of experience as a preschool teacher/director, & creating our very own
LEONIS PRIDE HOMESCHOOL.
The wonderful thing about homeschooling is you can create & choose any environment & experience to teach your beautiful children whose minds soak up everthing like sponges.
...SO PLEASE GET COMFY, SIP SOME ORGANIC TEA, & STAY A WHILE!!!
LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE
& EDUCATING OUR YOUNG ONES IS TOO!

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING
WITH CHILDREN
IF ONLY YOU PLAY WITH THEM.

I began this page in January of 1999. I only play on the computer when my wee kinders are occupied. So please be patient & check back often. Here are some of my ideas:

This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down his life for
us. And we ought to lay down our
life for our brothers.
