Comments:  Same heretofore levied on by John H. Botts (deputy) as the interest of Abraham Hillis in one undivided half of a tract of land in the county and known as Hillis's Old Mill and which in pursuance of an Execution obtained against said Hillis by William M. Sudduth, Admr. of Richard Wood, dec'd in the Bath Circuit Court, was duly advertised and offered by public sale to the highest bidder, whereby Thomas W. Fleming became the purchaser and who requested that the land be conveyed to Thomas Jackson.

I have some information on the Hillis Familey. I come down through Abraham Hillis married Mary Miller Jan. 24.  1812, Fleming Co. KY. What information are you looking for? I'll be glad to share what I have.
