FERNDALE - USA
APRIL 3 - APRIL 10 1999
Ronald, scoot and I left on saterday the 3th by plane
from brussels; scoot via London and we via Washington ( and Denver, rerouting) for Seattle
Because of the delay we had to stay overnight in Seattle
24 h en route, 10 h time-change in 3 times...tired
this night another time-change (summertime) !
Scoot, who had been waiting (sleeping so he did not hear)for ages did receive message about delay and already went ahead to Ferndale
The next day Scoot and Tim came and picked us up (a little late)
Afther a 2 h drive we arrived in Ferndale and met the rest of the family: Sue, Ashley and T.J.
Easter today, and the whole family was coming; Sue had a lot of preparing and organizing to do.
In the evening we went to the beach, hardly 50 yards from their home ! waw
On monday, Tim, an early bird, went to work ; he makes houses
Ashley and T.j. went to school, eastermonday is no holiday overhere
Sue organizes the whole household
We went to Canada and Vancouver that day. Vancouver is great, wonderfull city.
On tuesday Ronald and I went to visit Seattle; nice city, but i preffer Vancouver (sorry)
In the evening we went to the Seattle-Sacramento game, together with Tim, Sue and scoot. A boys dream coming true for the 3 Belgians
Coming home a home-made pizza was waiting for us
The next day, we visited Widbley Island, or is it Wibley, widdeley,ww, Tim?
Unfortionately we had a rainy day, but still was beautifull. With the sun out, like the last 2 days it would surely be even more beautifull.
In the evening we ate steak ( beef and elk); BBQ ; all tree of us wondered how many people were coming over for dinner ? Was lekker and the mashed-baked special patatos as well.
Thursday was already our last day for Ronald and me. Seattle again, for some serious shopping, and a visit to pike market. In the evening we team up with Sue and Tim for our second Sonics game against the Portland. Close game. What an atmosphere. Afther the game it is time to say good-bye to our american friends and scoot, who has another 3 days to go ( the lucky b.)

Friday, up early, real early, 4.30, cab from downtown Seattle to Airport.
Less troubles than when coming up; just a 2 h delay in washington, due to bad weather. Messing up our body clock again; but it was worth it.
Saturday morning, back home; tired but we had a wonderfull time.
Many Thanks Sue, Tim, Ashley and T.j.
See you in Belgium, for Chrismas (?); Luckely there is ICQ in the mean-time
More PICS on the next page (coming soon)
