We find that thru the SCRIPTURES, "Old Testament", God promisies us the coming of the Messiah, [Jesus], to bring the plan of salvation to us.
Jesus said in Matt.18:11, "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost"
Luke2:10,11 says "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tiding of great joy, which shall be to all people. [11]For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord".
John3:17 says "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
