Organising an international relocation is never easy, especially the first time. If you are sending staff overseas, making sure the move is as trouble free as possible is important, both for direct business reasons and to make sure your staff are as happy and loyal as possible in the long term.
Huw Francis specialises in consultancy services to help make international relocations as smooth as possible, by drawing on many years international experience and a worldwide network of contacts. He concentrates on providing tailor-made assistance for individuals and their families, whether they work for large or small organisations.
As an independent consultant Huw Francis has worked for Government Agencies, Education Institutions, Entrepreneurs, Relocation Agencies and Private Companies. He has developed Relocation Policies, International Assignment Strategies, Cultural Training Seminars and Workshops.
He has also developed International Marketing Plans, an International School website, and a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) study companion for international students, as well as taught on the International Masters in Management course at the Ecole Superieur de Commerce de Lille.
Huw Francis graduated in engineering from Cranfield University in the UK and later gained a postgraduate diploma in International Business Management from the Central Connecticut State University in the U.S.A. He has lived in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Turkey and France while working as an Engineer, Business Manager, Communications & Management Consultant and Writer. He has visited more than thirty countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa for both business and pleasure.
Huw Francis co-authored Live and Work Abroad, A Guide For Modern Nomads, published in the UK in March 2001, updated Live and Work in Italy in 2002 and has also contributed a chapter to each of The Writer's Guide to Queries, Pitches & Proposals by Moira Allen and Career in Your Suitcase 2 by Joanna Parfitt.
Huw Francis also writes for newspapers, magazines and websites and his articles have covered Turkey, travel, expatriate living, international business and parenting. His work has been published in fifteen countries and translated into French and Spanish.
