Why I Pray!

This is our daughter Shelia, Who has
been a crack addict for 10 years.Before the crack it was various drugs that built up to where she is now.

Many times in Every Day
-In Many Ways I long to say,
Some word or phase
-That could somehow convey.

This Solemn Thought:

My Hopes, My Dreams and Fears
For you my darling,
In the coming years

The path you're on
-It makes me cry
So I many times I ponder Why.......

Where Will Your Pathway Lead?

I know oh Girl
That is why I plead!
So step up now
Reverse the fate.....
Before it is so very late!

But until such time you do,
I ask Lord Jesus to help us through.
He helps me live from day to day
One Day You Will See,
That Is Why I Pray.

As everyone knows we have now celebrated two things with Shelia.(1) She has over 1 year free of drugs.(2) She has had a battle with breast cancer this year and has completed her chemo and radiation.She went through 3 surgeries to rid her body of the cancer and did so without any pain medications afterwards.This will be the first Christmas I have all my children together. We did have all 6 of them here in June for our daughters High School graduation party.
