The earliest record I have on my Father�s side of the family dates back to 1904, from Saint Columba Church in Buffalo, NY. Augusto Fix and his wife Alice (McDonald) had my Grandfather, Walter Joseph Fix, on August 1, 1892. He was baptized at age 12, according to the Baptismal Certificate obtained by my Mother in 1998.
Walter Joseph was a newspaper editor in Buffalo and married Caroline Sherwood. My Father, Walter Sherwood Fix, was born on August 5, 1918.
Walter J. died in 1949. Caroline married Henry Klitzke.
Walter S. worked at Dryer�s Flower Shop in Buffalo during the Depession, and served in the Army during WWII. When he returned home from the war he married Betty Jane Brookshaw. Walter S. passed away in 1996.
