Hi! My name is Wayne Stephen Herridge. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life and have always had the goal to go on a 2 year mission for the Lord. My excitement has got greater as the time has drawn closer and it feels good to know that I am in the right place doing the right thing. I'd just like to say that this is a great work which missionaries are called by the Lord to do. I have been preparing myself for a while to take this step in my life and it has opened my eyes to a lot of things which have become an important part of my life. Well, the date is 1st August 1999 and things are moving towards the 18th August when I leave for the Preston Missionary Training Centre after which I will be serving in the England
Manchester Mission. I leave for the MTC on 18th August which means I only have a mere 18 days to go.  I am looking forward to serving the Lord in that part of the world. I didn't really mind where I went because I knew the Lord would call me to wherever I would be most useful.
I am grateful to all those who have supported me and my family in the past year. We really
appreciate it.
