Books - What Happens Next?
I grew up reading, all thanks to my Mom! At the age of 5 or 6, I remember Mom reading "Little Women" to me. At the time, I couldn't bear the thought of coming to the end of a chapter, not only because it meant bedtime, but (and all the people that were read to as kids will agree) the big question always loomed "but what happens next"??
I've been keeping track of really good books I've read and here are a few:
- The Size of the World by Jeff Greenwald
- The Body is Water by Julie Schumacher
- Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky
- Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler
- Family Pictures by Sue Miller
- La Vida by Oscar Lewis
- Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
- The Properties of Water by Ann Hood
- Lords of Discipline by Pat Conroy
- Anna Karenin by Leo Tolstoy
- Early From the Dance by David Payne
- Hard City by Clark Howard
- A Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler
