Hi, we are a family of five (plus one): Brad, Lisa, David, Brendy (pictured above), Little Michael and Bailey (girl) the Tigerette. We would like to welcome you to our little spot in the world. We invite you to come in and stay awhile. We have set up this site to keep in touch with all of our friend and family and hope we can meet new friends along the way. Camp Strother
Camp Strother is a 200+ acre recreational camp located in the rolling hills of Eldon, Iowa. The area was the inspiration for a host of paintings, such as the painting "American Gothic". It is one of our favorite places to go to relax and get back to nature.

This is our hometown. It located right in the middle of Iowa. I've gathered some interesting sites that share some interesting information about Des Moines. I have even added a realtor's page in case you want to move to this great city (Plus, the page has some great facts about the city)
Sally Fisher's Home Page This site is a great site for finding out information about Homes in the Des Moines area. It also has some great facts about Des Moines and the surrounding areas. This was nominated "Best in Iowa" and rightfully so.
Iowa State Fair Living on the East side of Des Moines in Pleasant Hill, we would always look forward to the Iowa State fair. It is second to none, when it comes to fairs. The site is dedicated to the fair and the preservation of the fair grounds.

Science Center When I was in school I was loved it when we went to the Science center. A hands on place where children and adults a like can have fun while learning about science. Although smaller than other science centers I have been in, it still has tons to offer
The Museum This was another place I enjoyed. They have moved it from its original building but I hear it's still a great place to go. I even read they have Floppy there. (Floppy was a dog puppet along with Duane Elliot entertained children in Iowa with TV show and guest appearances to the State Fair, store openings.)
The Camber of Commerce An interesting look at Des Moines Commerce. A great place to get facts and information on contacts for businesses.
Need a job? After you look at Sally Fishers site and want to buy one of those beautiful houses, you may find you need a job. Well, this links for you.
Need a friend? This site is for the Animal Rescue League in Des Moines. A great place to get a pet . My little brother (AKA Teddy the dog) was adopted from here. He has brought many happy moments to my parents.
