Tree Genealogy About 6 or 7 years ago at Christmas time, the children started asking questions about relatives. After a few questions both Suzanne and I realized that we knew virtually nothing about our families and heritage. And so it began .... I took on the task of researching the family history and before I knew it things were out of control. Faster and faster modems so I could make more contacts with the computer.... new printer for all those wonderful charts.... file cabinets to store the mountain of paper.... book cases to house the books. Need I say more! I am of course thoroughly addicted to this hobby and it has been fascinating to me. I am the product of a Yankee dad and Southern mom, while Suzy is the combination of French Canadian and Italian. It makes for a wonderful heritage for my children and I hope that some day I can compile it for the them.

Flower Perennial Gardening. My passion for genealogy is matched by Suzanne's passion for perennials. As the winter fades the garden will become the focus of much of our labor. We only have a couple of very sunny spots in our yards so the challenge is always to figure out what does best where and how to keep the profusion of bloom and color at its best. Almost every weekend there is something to plant and prune and fertilize, but at the same time, there is almost always something to cut and bring into the house where it can be enjoyed. Suzanne is an educator by trade, having a love for teaching elementary school, but at the end of the school year, when the last bus has left, Suzy jumps in the car and heads for here favorite perennial nursery. She will spend the summer there, with the customers and the plants and at the same time enhancing our own corner of the world.

Cook Food . Food is something that Suzanne and I share an equal love for. We both enjoy eating and cooking food of all flavors and it is something that we have done for a long time. Working together has always let us do a little more than most people would take the time for. [I will admit that I lag slightly in cleanup.] If we had to pick a favorite it would probably be continental style cooking but that would be by the slimmest of margins. Italian, Greek, Chinese, Middle Eastern and of course good ole down home American. In addition to a good array of cookbooks we have been fortunate to have a lot of good friends who share their recipes and tricks with us. Hopefully we will be able to share a little bit of this with all of you through this homepage.
