AFA is excited to announce there are to be three levels of the
AFA Certified Aviculturist program.
The first course, Fundamentals of Aviculture, is written by Rick Jordan and Barbara Heidenreich and presented as nine beautifully illustrated chapters, with original photographs and with drawings by Lyrae Perry. Level I consists of nine distinct classes, each of which has a quiz. The course outline is available at http://www.fundamentalsofaviculture.com/courseoutline.html/. The second course is to be called Intermediate Aviculture http://www.afaeducation.com/. The outline has 11 chapters. Check back for information that is forthcoming about the third level. For questions or to learn more, please contact Linda Seger at foatech@earthlink.net or check online at www.afabirds.org .
