Hi!  Welcome to my corner of cyberspace. I won't bore you with lots of details about myself, just the basics.  My name is Melanie, but my webpals know me as tregansmom or brwneyedcaprcrn.
I'm a single mom of three who likes to garden, write poetry, play with my kids and surf the net!  Any time I find a site I enjoy, I bookmark it.

This page is mostly links to my favorite bookmarks.   I hope you enjoy some of the sites I've seen.  Come back again for new discoveries...
"Pink Rose" by Kim Anderson
My other pages!!   (Well?  What did you expect?  My sites ARE my favorite places on the web!)
I am a budding Creative Memories Consultant and am completely hooked on scrapbooking.  My photos are so scattered and out of control, this is something I really got in to.  They have wonderful products, awesome costumer service and they completely back up their merchandise.  I think CM is a great business...

Girls Of Grace Purpose Statement:

"Our goal is to create a foundation experience, compelling each girl to build her life with purpose through a refreshed, hope filled heart, a renewed self-confidence and a deep desire for a relational, daily walk with Jesus Christ."

Girls of Grace was created and is hosted by Point of Grace.
I love artwork by Thomas Kincade, Kim Anderson, and Willem Haenraets and music by Enya and David Nevue (as well as many, many other artists)
Here are some links to their sites (or places where you can find their work)
My taste in music runs the gambit...everything from classical to heav metal.  But to relax and just be still, I love Enya.

"With a piano style somewhere between Chopin and George Winston, David Nevue brings melody and heart back to instrumental music. Perhaps Heartsong Review said it best when they described his music as "hauntingly romantic." David's music introduces us to a wilderness of musical ideas which the listener becomes anxious to explore."   (from David Nevue's bio page)      Read more about David here

"Thomas Kinkade is America's most collected living artist, and the adventure that he's taken to get there is a fascinating and compelling story.
While growing up in the small town of Placerville, California, the young Thomas Kinkade embraced a series of simple life-affirming ideals that later would shape his future and his art. As a devout Christian, Thom uses his artistic gift as a way to communicate and spread the life-affirming values he embraced during his formative years."

"Willem Haenraets was born in Heerlen (the Netherlands) on October 9th., 1940. At the age of 16 he went to the Town Academy of Applied Arts in Maastricht. He was student in the Master-Classes of Prof. Sarina (Atelier-Opsomer) and Prof. Vaarten. After finishing his studies he started to create art with a capital A. Willem Haenraets exposed in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Tokyo. "Day of Sunshine" by Willem Haenraets
"During the last decade, Anderson (whose given name is Bertram Bahner) has touched the hearts of millions of fans with his series of simple, heartfelt photographs of children. His signature style is the hand colored detail Anderson adds to his photos, such as a single red rose, a bouquet of bright yellow flowers or the soft brown fur of a well loved teddy bear. The children in Anderson’s extensive photo gallery are frequently captured in oversized floppy hats, knee length suit jackets and bulky sweaters with rolled up sleeves."  (From Kim Anderson's bio page)
