Coat of Arms

/user/coatriz.jpg

The official Rizzi Coat of Arms, as illustrated above, can be found documented in the Rietstap Armorial General. The arms (shield) is described as follows:

Divided horizontally: Silver with a left arm issuing from the right side, adorned with six diagonal bands of green and gold, cuffed in red, the flesh colored hand holding three golden ears of rice.

Divided vertically: (A) Six vertical bands of gold and green. (B) Silver with a red pattee cross.

Although family mottos or battle cries were often recorded with family coats of arms, there is no motto on record for the Rizzi family name.
