REACH & BUILD - Many people today feel that the church has lost its ability to be a light in the world. We
at Gateway Community desire to reach the unchurched population, and light the way for clear communication
of God's truth.
ESTABLISHING DYNAMIC RELATIONSHIPS - We are teaching and modeling that individually, people
must build relationships with unchurched people in order to direct them to the source of eternal life - JESUS
CHRIST. We also believe that small caring group relationships, within the church, are needed for nurturing
and spiritual growth.
CREATIVE - Our weekly services will be developed by creativley incorporating contemporary music,
drama, the arts, and relative messages from God's Word.
CREDIBLE - Every aspect of Gateway Community will reflect a quality effort and not a compromise to
expediency. We will not strive for excellence simply for the sake of excellence, but because we serve an
excellent God. We have the greatest message in history!! We will present all we do in the best format
possible.
CARING - People are why we are here. To tell people the greatest news ever and to care about them for
who they are. Small shepherd groups have been developed to provide opportunity for spiritual growth, close
caring relationships, equipping for ministry, and a forum for people to deal with unique problems they face
from day to day.
