The Pioneer Amateur Radio Club is based in Winchester, Ky. Members of the club participate in various operations such as simulated emergencies, aiding at public events like the 4th of July festival, the Pioneer Festival, and coordination of the Christmas parade, band competitions at the local high school and other such activites. You can catch the club ARES net on Thursday nights at 8:00 pm. The club meetings are held at the local Shoney's on the Winchester By-pass. Anyone interested is invited to come. Meetings are usually held on the third Monday of each month. Come and get into the incredible world of Amateur Radio.
