My name is Martha, but my friends call me Marti.

I was born September 12th, the 5th (and last) child of my musician father and model mother. I have spent my entire life here, at the Jersey shore.
I work as a professional Dog Groomer. I love my work; the animals, the creativity and the challenge! Nothing is better than waking up in the morning and looking forward to the day's work ahead...
Although my 3 beautiful daughters reside with their father most of the time, they are, none the less, my life.

Thoughts on being single.

I have been very fortunate to have found a wonderful friend who has allowed me to keep Laz at her property. In exchange for his board, I take care of her three horses Monday's thru Fridays. Laz has been a member of our family for several years; it's hard to imagine life without him.

Visit my HomeBirth Page. All three of my daughters were born at home. I would highly recommend homebirthing to anyone who is experiencing a very "normal" healthy pregnancy.

The Web has proven to be quite a surprise for me. In doing a search, just for fun, I typed in "Ferrin" to see what would show up... I didn't expect to find anything as I was always told that we were the last of the Ferrins... What a shock to see over 2,000 entries for Ferrin on the Web! The most interesting, however, was one that revealed much of my family's history and involvment with the settling of Arizona.
