Exchange of Prisoners

My interest in this particular unit results from my great-grandfather, Alexander Larimer.  Larimer family members also served in other Pennsylvania regiments -- LARIMER Civil War Service (PA).  Hopefully, additional pages can be added to record the history of all of these units.

Having read the some of the unit histories, books and official reports relating to these units has instilled in me the greatest respect for all of the soldiers of the Civil War -- from both sides.
