Welcome to my home page. My friends on mIRC know me as "wntrswan" and having met so many new friends on Internet Chat, I have created this site as a means to share myself with those I meet along the way.
I live in a rural area of Missouri, not far from Kansas City.  I love the quiet of the country and the freedom of space only country life can offer. We are nestled into colorful acres of trees and wildlife giving me a view of nature only God could have painted. I have a small backyard breeding business, "Winterhawk Stables", and raise the Naturally Gaited Tennessee Walking Horse. We show, train, and trail ride, but the babies are my first love. I show English Saddle Seat, Western Pleasure, and Vintage Costume Side Saddle. We have two dogs, three cats,  five mares,  one filly,  and our stallion, " Supreme's Mr. Carbon ". Carbon is now standing the 1999 Season.
I am secretary for the United Plantation Pleasure Horse Association, an organization formed to promote the Plantation Pleasure Tennessee Walking Horse and their natural gaits. We are active in our efforts to condemn and stop the practice of soring horses and abuse in any form. The Tennessee Walking Horse is my passion.
In the winter months I spend my time reading, sewing costumes for 1890's Vintage Side Saddle competition, and IRCing.  I have made some very close friends from all around the world, some of whom I have met, others I plan to meet in the future. You are likely to find me in #Home or #Trivia on Xnet.  Careful, trivia is addictive but loads of fun!
I have been married for 32 years and we have two daughters, one grandson, Jordan, and our granddaughter Shelby.
