Sky was Career Changed (dropped from the Guide Dog program) after two months of training at the Boring Oregon campus of Guide Dogs for the Blind, for food guarding. It is not uncommom for a dog to respond to the stress of training in various physical or behavioral ways, and this is one way of evaluating their ability to handle the stress in their future as a guide. Sky came home to live with our middle daughter, Elise, where we get the opportunity to see her often
