Thanksgiving for us is a lot of fun and everyone sharing in all the cooking duties. Everyone brings a favorite family dish, and the turkey's are cooked in a field oven, a Boy Scout method we'd learned many years ago! Here's a picture spread of the cooking routine. The best part of all is that the main mess stays outside, and the men do the cooking!
About 50lbs of turkeys done in a matter of a few hours!

While we're sitting down to our tables with our families and friends and enjoying the Holiday, please take a moment to pray for our servicemen and women who cannot be here in the States with there families right now... whereever they are in the world, remember them and thank God for their service and the freedoms we love so much!
