(will have
ASAP) continuing with the marriage bond of John Payne and Rachel Parker
signed by
his father Reuben Payne and attested by Jack Sevier, first Clerk of Court
in Washington
Co. and a brother to Gov. John Sevier. Other papers between Gov. John Sevier
and Reuben

Reuben Payne was appointed "Overseer" for the Poor by Gov. Sevier
as proven
in excerpts from theGovernors
