Welcome to my Home Page. I do occasionally update. If you are wondering about me, here are the details. I was born April 24, 1952 in North Wilkesboro NC. North Wilkesboro is the home of the North Wilkesboro Speedway the former site of many Nascar races. North Wilkesboro is in Wilkes County. NC.

I work for the United States Postal Service where I am a City Carrier. I worked for eight years as a Rural Carrier Associate and then switched over and became a City Carrier. I am an ex-Marine and served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. I was in from March 1972 through March 1976. I was a sergeant {E-5} when I was discharged. After the Marines I also served a year in the Army National Guard.. I am very interesed in computers , photography, collectiing coins, two way radios, and various other hobbies. I am divorced and have two daughters. They are Alisha Renae Luffman and Adrianna Dare Rhoades. Adrianna is a junior in college. Alisha is a xray technichian. Alisha is married to Jeremy Luffman. They have a daughter Autumn Grace Luffman and a son Michael Colin Luffman. Making me a grandfather.

I also have a step-daughter Shannon Madorie Brown Massengill who is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is now working for Lowes Companies in Wilkesboro NC. Shannon is married to Brian Massengill and he also works for Lowes Companies. My older brother is named Shirrel Lee Rhoades and worked in the publishing industry. He now consults having retired a few years ago. His wife is Diane and she also works in publishing and runs her own consulting business also. My younger sister is Sharon Dawn Johnson. She lives in Monroe NC and is married to Tony Johnson. They have two children named Matthew and Amanda. My father was Millard Franklin Rhoades. He died in an auto accident in 1961.
