VERSATILITY BEAGLE 2008 “PRICEY” ~ Ivy Seney of Campbell River writes: I am owned by four beagles all of whom I love dearly but Pricey is my pride and joy. After Duncan had become the first ATCH Beagle my goal was for Pricey to follow in her footsteps. She achieved my goal in Sept 2007 after 3yrs of competing. She has also earning titles in Obedience and Rally-O and we look forward to her obtaining her Canadian Good Neighbour in the spring. Over the years, she has taught me so much and is such a sweet personality. Congratulations, Pricey and Ivy! |

"BEANIE" ~
ATCH. Canadian Champion Beanie is owned by Laurel Hadden of Victoria, BC. He finished his Canadian Championship as a senior puppy and was also awarded 3 Best Puppy in Group wins. A busy boy, in addition to his "show" career, he is also a Certified Pet Therapy Dog (like his mother Rio (above!) and his Grandmother Loki). He has excelled at agility, earning a HIT in his first month of competition. After 8 months, he completed his MAD dog title (Masters Agility Dog), at the age of 3 1/2 years he achieved his ATCH (Agility Trial Champion). He is the first male beagle in Canada to have this accomplishment. He is now also a proven sire with a litters of pups born in 2005 and 2006. He is available at stud to approved bitches. He is now competing in Rally O with great success. In his spare time he models for a local dog wear company. Recently some foolish person mentioned to Laurel that "beagles don't do flyball".... Congratulations, Beanie and Laurel!

Can Ch BREIGAYT'S INDIGO OF MERIADOC CGC, Certified Therapy Dog Indy is owned and spoiled by OSheehan's Beagles, Victoria BC. Indy was our first conformation dog and instrumental in getting us hooked on the sport. She was also the dame of our first and second litters and produced champions from each. After her retirement from the show ring she started doing informal obedience where she completed a CGC, but her real love has been working as a therapy dog in schools, retirement homes and hospitals. Recently she has returned to the show ring, as a veteran and working with numerous junior handlers showing the "new kids" the ropes. She has truly been a wonderful ambassador for the breed, and we are very proud of our "Little Blue Bomb". Congratulations, Indy and Trisha! |
