 As you might know, I am not the only Bao in the house. So for those of you who are a mite confused, this is the Little Bao House. Then again, since I am all grown up and have my own house now, I guess I am the only Bao in the house. Or, apartment, as the case may be. And, no, there aren't going to be any LITTLE LITTLE BAO's running around anytime soon. Don't give my mom (or Sandra) any ideas. There is, however, a brand new Baby Phan in the family! Little Isabelle was born in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, December 5, 1998. First grandchild on both sides -- look out! My hubby and I recently returned from our second FANTABULOUS trip to Europe. We crossed the borders of six countries: France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Amsterdam. Yes, it was another one of our famous "run, don't walk" trips; the first 13 cities (spanning 4 countries) were done in 14 days. Once again, we got a little click-happy with the cameras. This time at least we took 18 rolls for 4 1/2 weeks instead of 3 weeks, like last time. Here's the abbreviated version of the photo album, so you don't have to wade through all 18 rolls (plus you won't have to come over to my house). I chose photos that are meaningful to their respective locations, so if you want to see the more artistic/aesthetic ones, you'll have to come over. Bring food. On a totally different note, I am involved with a cultural dance group called Canh Chim Bach Viet -- Wings of the Hundred Viet. Each year, we perform all over the Bay Area in two seasons: the Lunar New Year and the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. Find out more about our group, and check out our past performances.
