We were blessed to have found a doula (HEATHER BURKE from Queenbee Care) who was a nanny previously and was willing to tend to the children in our home while we are welcoming our new baby into the world. We kept things flexible so that if the children needed Daddy, she was able to be there for me. She also turned out to be a wonderful "midwife's assistant".

We borrowed the video "Special Delivery", by Injoy Productions, from our local library. This video depicts a home birth, hospital birth and birthing center birth. It is very detailed and both of our children enjoyed viewing it again and again.
