Offenbacker attended the 50th anniversary reunion events at Gettysbug, Pa. in 1913. Brothers Daxx Moore and Robert Moore, II are both great-great grandsons of Pvt. Offenbacker. (*3) Samuel N. Judd was one of the members of the Luray Confederate Veterans organizing committee that made plans for the reception of the Carlisle G.A.R. members at the July 21, 1881 reunion in Luray, Va.
