Coming into Columbia across Scuppernong River Bridge. This is one of the greatest sights ever after being away from Columbia for a short time.

This building was once in shambles and about to fall into the Scuppernong River. David and Fiona Finch purchased and renovated it into a beautiful structure that enhances the Columbia waterfront today.
The Columbia Pharmacy located on Main Street ... owned and operated by Bill Manning.
The dentist office of Dr. Richard Hines on Main Street across from the High School.
The gazeebo located in Veteran's Park on the west bank of the Scppernong River.
Heart's Delight Bed & Breakfast located on Green Street ... owned and operated by Phillip & Nancy House.
Columbia Marina located on Water Street along the Scuppernong River.
Mitchell's Barber Shop located on Main Street ... owned and operated by Bobby Mitchell. Very many Tyrrell County boys got their first haircut right here. The barber shop is still open today and a good place to hear what's going on in Columbia.
Pledger Hardware Co. located on Main Street ... owned and operated by Dennis Pledger for the past 50 years.
The law office and antique store owned by local lawyer, Charlie Ogletree. Located on Main Street across from Columbia Pharmacy.
The Columbia Post Office located on Broad Street.
The Columbia Town Hall located at the end of Main Street. This building used to be Cahoon's Esso Station.
This is the Veteran's Memorial located in Veteran's Park on the west bank of the Scuppernong River. The memorial pays tribute to the Tyrrell veterans who gave their lives in battle during WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
The new Visitor's Center located on NC 64 as you enter Columbia.
White's Ben Franklin or Mrs. White's as most Tyrrell County folks know it as. Founded by W.J. White and now operated by his son, Bill. This store was the center of attraction for Tyrrell county children for many years and you can still find dreamy eyed children ogling that special toy or treat.
