WELCOME TO THE FAMILY TREE PAGE OF LOUIS VAN DOREN
Please bear with me as this is my first attempt at this genealogy thing. As I learn I will post everything here. I will have some good links and other information to help those of us who are trying to learn to trace our family trees.
My name is Louis L. Van Doren, I was born in Warsaw, Indiana on Dec. 26, 1943. My Father is Billie D. Van Doren and my Mother is Patricia J. (Rohler)Van Doren. I have one Sister Susan K. (Van Doren)Fretz Who lives in Warsaw, Indiana. I grew up in Warsaw and Graduated from Warsaw Sr. High School in 1962. I was Married to Frances L. (Kirkendall)Van Doren on July 3, 1964. We have had no children. In 1966 I entered the U.S. Army and served there till 1972, when I returned to Warsaw Indiana and lived there till Oct. 1997 when we moved to Harlingen Texas.
My Father was Born in Elkhart Indiana on Feb 3, 1922. His Father was Harold Van Doren, and his Mother was Ethel (Miller) Van Doren. He has one half brother Byron Van Doren of Akron, Indiana and one Half Sister Iva (Van Doren) Nelson of Silver Lake, Indiana.
My Mother was Born in North Manchester, Indiana on Jan. 25,1922. Her Father was Curtis Rohler, and her Mother was Hazel (Reed) Rohler. She had one Sister Louise (Rohler) Wright. She passed away in Harlingen, Texas on Nov. 1, 1996.
