From Germany, Longin Weigand came to the US and settled in Newark, NJ. He married Anna Moosbrugger from Voralberg, Austria.

Andrew Wilson emigrated from Belfast, Ireland and married Sarah Eccles in Philadelphia.

Al Weigand, son of Longin and Anna, married Peg Wilson, daughter of Andrew and Sarah, thereby joining the two families.
