Another Page in the Taylor Family History/Cousins
The Pictures you will see on this page, are pictures of cousins to my line of Taylors. While searching for the Taylor surname on the Internet, a cousin saw my post on a web site. We discovered that we were related, and she (Diane) sent these photos to me. John M Taylor, was her gg  grandfather, and a brother to my g grandfather, James M Taylor.  The pictures here are of John M Taylor,   his son, Jonathan, and his grandson, Charles Sumner Taylor and wife Gertude Nelson Taylor.

Andrew David Taylor
David Andrew Taylor, was the oldest son of Jonathan Taylor and Barsheba Daniel Taylor. This Photo was sent to me by his great great grandson, Robert Taylor from Colorado.
David Andrew was 20 years older than my great grandfather, James M. Taylor.
David Andrew was gunned down at a neighbors house when he was called out on to the porch because of his strong Union beliefs.
He was killed in 1864 before his three sons - Isaac, William Henry Clay, and Jonathan came home from the war. At the time of his death he would have had several brothers and sisters living in the area.
After the sons settled their fathers estate, two of the sons, Isaac and Jonathan  married, and their wives, and Andrew Davids widow, Elizabeth A M J  Barnes left East Tennessee and headed for west Missouri. William Henry Clay Taylor also went to West Missouri.
Sarah Jane Tilley,
wife of Noah D Taylor
Another brother to John M, and
James M Taylor, was Noah D
Taylor. He married Sarah Jane Tilley, and shortly moved to Kansas. Not long
after he moved, he went with friends to the north to look for gold. They were attacked by Souix Indians, and Noah was killed. There is a marker telling about this on Hiway I-25 in central Wyoming.
The pictures were sent by another cousin I met over the Internet, Sallie. She is a gggrandaughter of Noah Daniel Taylor.
Sarah Rogene Taylor was the
d/o Noah D Taylor and Sara J Tilley.
She married Freddie Ormsby.
I have had this picture to the left, in my
Possesion for many years, and could not
figure out who they might be. Yesterday,
I sent it to several cousins that I have met
since I have been doing this project. This
morning, I recieved an e-mail from a Taylor
cousin in Colorado,(Robert) and he knew who it was, and has the same picture!!

have been mentioned on these pages. Robert is a grandson of Andrew David Taylor.
