Melba Lucille Taylor Raney b. March 22, 1924 To Charles E. Taylor and Eunice Hazel Cotterell, in Lemoore California. Mother had Alzheimer's for over five years, and had not known any of us for a very long time. When they say it is the Longest Goodbye, They are right. May You fly with the Angels, Mother, and know that we will keep you close in our Hearts. d. May 3, 2007 |
When I Dream of You I laid my head on my pillow After turning out the light, I can't remember how long it took To fall asleep last night. I know that I was happy As I began to sleep The dreams I had about you Are ones I want to keep. You were so close I saw your face I heard You laugh out loud I felt like we were floating On a great white fluffy cloud. You held my hand as we walked in peace On a beach, with rays of sun. We were silent in our solitude, Our minds and hearts were one. We never spoke, we only felt The love that we both knew Was always going to be there The love of me and you. When I awoke this morning, And sat up straight in bed. I realized this wonderful walk Was only in my head. So until I see you once again, I'll have to be satisfied, To walk with you in peaceful dreams And love you from deep inside. By Linda Lee Cornish Wallitner |
