CRAFTS BY AL AND HELENE

Al says his wife, Helene, has been making stuffed teddy bears
and other animals for many years.
At one time he went with her to the local craft fairs, he says.
Then a few years ago, he received a scroll saw for Christmas
and fell in love with woodworking.
He really enjoys working with wood and is good enough
now to accompany Helene to the fairs
Al's and Helene's daughter, Sabine, has always had a flair for art.
Painting is a natural for her, so when Al and
Helene go to fairs, she often goes, too.
Al and Helene live 50 miles NE of San Francisco and attend
a few local craft fairs every year.
Over the years they have developed several portable display
shevles so they can display their items. They also sell out of their home.
Al says it isn't his intent to sell items over the Internet.
Rather, it is to show others how to enjoy their leisure and have fun at the same time.
