~THREE WOODEN CHESTS~





Bud's craft and hobby is woodwork. He makes furniture, wooden chests, wooden toys, and other miscellaneous wooden pieces.



FROM START TO FINISH: THE MAKING OF THREE WOODEN CHESTS
First, Bud locates the wood. Bud uses the wood from trees that for one reason or another, have fallen to the ground on the hillside behind his house.








Bud strips the bark from each tree, then he splits it into board-lengths.








Bud planes and smoothes each board.








Each board is measured and cut into lengths.








Each piece is shaped, sanded, and glued, according to the pattern.
