Garrett joined the family on July 3, 1998. He was 7lbs 2oz and 29 inches long.
At three years old Garrett was diagnosed with a hormone deficiency. For some reason his body doesn't produce normal hormone levels. He takes a shot each night of Humatrope. It is mixed in a pen similar to what many diabetic patients use now adays. He is a real trooper and is even learning how to prepare his shot for us to give him each night.
Garrett started 1st grade this year and loves going to school all day like his sisters. He is enjoying meeting new friends in school and wakes up excited to go back. |
